Information on Co-operative Education for IME Students
The IME Department strongly encourages our students to take Co-op as part of his/her academic experience. There are many co-op opportunities in various industries. If you are interested in gaining work experience through a co-op experience, please go to http://www.careerservices.calpoly.edu/students/coop/co-op_engr.htm for information. The College of Engineering Co-op guidelines and forms are on this website.
Key Steps for a successful Co-op
- Pick up “Cooperative Education Program Student Agreement” form from Career Services (Building 124, Room 114). This form is on NCR paper in triplicate.
- Print and read the "IME Department Co-op Agreement Form."
- Complete, sign both forms (Cooperative Education Program Student Agreement and IME Department Co-op Agreement), and bring to the IME Department Office to finalize Co-op.
