Biography
I am a hands-on, industry-oriented, mechanical/manufacturing engineer with over eighteen years’ experience teaching in an ABET accredited manufacturing & mechanical engineering programs. I have experience developing and instructing a variety of engineering courses ranging from: advanced manufacturing processes, mechanical and computer-aided design, CNC programming, industrial automation, casting and forming processes, to automotive engineering. My industrial experience includes design of automotive and marine based aftermarket products, automotive control systems/engine computer tuning, material resource planning, solid modeling, engineering drawings, production CNC programming & tooling design, finite element analysis, and dynamometer/automotive technician. Research interests include CNC machining, manufacturing processes, CAD & solid modeling, automotive engine design, and engineering design process.
