I studied my bachelor in Industrial engineering at Cetys Universidad in 1997. I also finished my postgraduate studies. My majors and programs were in MSc (Eng) in Advanced Manufacturing Systems and Technology and PhD in Performance Evaluation of Manufacturing Systems. Both postgraduate programs were finished at The University of Liverpool in the UK in 2008.
My experience has been concentrated in industry for 10 years. One of most relevant posts was as an advisor in the Board of Directors office in the largest organization in Mexico.
Currently, German Serna is working for Calpoly as a full-time lecturer since January 2023. Nevertheless, he has been teaching courses in different universities and doing research for more than 10 years.
