I received my B.S. in Ceramic Engineering from the University of Illinois in 1987.  As a part-time lecturer with 25+ years in the high-tech industry, my goal is to serve as a bridge between academia and industry. In addition to teaching in IME, MATE and BMED I coordinate the Interdisciplinary Senior Project course.  I enjoy helping with career advice, resume writing, interviewing skills and negotiating salary packages. I am also the President of the Society of Women Engineers Central Coast Professional Section and supporter of the Cal Poly section.
