Biography
Dr. Sagit Kedem-Yemini holds a B.Sc. and Ph.D in Industrial Engineering from Ben Gurion University and M.Sc. in Industial Managenet , where she specialized in Information Systems and Project Management. With 20 years of experience in academic curriculem development and teaching, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in ERP systems, data analitycs and process mining applications to the IME department at Cal Poly. Sagit has previously worked in the semiconductor field, with major clients as Intel and Tower Semiconductors, demonstrating her capabilities with scheduling and logistics management.
Research Interests
My research interests lie at the intersection of data analytics and process mining, where I am driven by the quest for solutions to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness across various domains. I utilize a diverse set of tools to delve into process improvement methodologies. Specifically, my focus is on leveraging process mining techniques to analyze data-driven processes spanning industrial, logistics, and even unconventional domains such as academic advancement processes or student learning processes. I am passionate about collaborating with fellow researchers and practitioners to explore new avenues and contribute to advancements in these areas.
