His primary research and teaching interests are in advanced manufacturing, with a focus on additive manufacturing, semiconductor manufacturing, aerospace manufacturing, and biomedical manufacturing. He has authored or co-authored over 50 journal and conference papers, contributed one book chapter, and holds two U.S. patents.
